Mr. Michael Foley has been a full-time real estate investor since 1995 during which time he has developed hundreds of single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums, and apartments. He has also purchased and sold over $150,000,000 of commercial properties including, office, retail, and multi-family. Mr. Foley started his building career developing affordable single-family houses in Long Beach, California. The business expanded rapidly over the next decade into building luxury homes in West Los Angeles and subdivisions in the Inland Empire area of Southern California, and purchasing commercial properties across the country. He and his family are now located in Durham, North Carolina where his company is currently building projects in Apex and Durham. Humabuilt Capital is currently under contract to purchase several properties located in Opportunity Zones in the Raleigh-Durham MSA.
Prior to starting his real estate development career, Mr. Foley worked as a City Planner in Del Mar, California and as a consultant for a number of city government agencies assisting with a variety of redevelopment, economic development, and affordable housing projects. From 1996 to 2015, Mr. Foley was a licensed Real Estate Broker and General Contractor in California. He is a graduate of the University of California at San Diego.
Mr. Foley oversees the entitlement process, funding, and operations for Humabuilt Capital.
Mr. Louie Levert is our Director of Development and has been a General Contractor in North Carolina since 1997. During that time, his company has built hundreds of homes ranging from $200,000 to $1,000,000 in the Raleigh-Durham. From 2012 to 2017, his company completed over 1,400 residential rehab projects for large hedge funds purchasing the homes in the Raleigh area to be turned into rental properties. He also has extensive experience in construction of commercial real estate.
Mr. Levert was formerly head construction manager for Spectrum Homes, a
well-respected custom home builder in the Raleigh area. From 1989 to 1997, Mr.
Levert was a general contractor in Montreal, Canada. He and his family currently live in Apex, North Carolina where he is very active in his church as well as being a big Carolina Hurricanes fan.
Mr. Levert will oversee all aspects of land development and construction for
Mr. Chandler moved to the Triangle in 1998. He is a proud U.S. Air Force veteran and started his professional career as a Process Development Specialist with a Technology/Aerospace company. Mr. Chandler’s love for the area and interest in the growth, development, and booming housing market led him to becoming a Real Estate Professional specializing in vacant land for development of residential and commercial projects. His extensive knowledge of the greater Wake, Durham, and Chatham County areas provides a confident vision and execution process.

Mr. Chandler is Director of Acquisitions and is in charge of all acquisition and disposition of properties as well as being actively involved in the entitlement process and investor relations.

Since 1998, Lena has helped small to medium sized businesses increase revenue
and brand awareness through well executed sales and marketing strategies. Starting in the non-profit sector, she helped raise more than $45 million for the Actors Fund in Los Angeles and increased their donor base by 217% in 3 yrs. She later went into the publishing sector working with authors and speakers to expand their fan base, increase distribution channels and book more speaking engagements.
In 2013, Lena decided Real Estate Marketing was where she wanted to be and
formed a marketing company to help investors find properties. She is a licensed
real estate broker in North Carolina focusing on land and investment properties.
Mrs. Foley is Director of Marketing and handles all of the marketing and investor outreach responsibilities for Humabuilt Capital.
